This is a cheap place so I didn’t have high expectations. But they didn’t provide everything they said they would provide. The apt is on the 6th (7th, American) floor and after the first day of my 5 nights in Lyon the elevator went out. So i was going up and down ~125+ steps every time i wanted to go in or out, and i carried all my luggage down 6 flights of stairs too (which are on a light timer that runs out before you get all the way up or down, so you’re in the dark using your phone flashlight). When I said i wanted a discount for the elevator being out they said it wasn’t their problem, it was the building’s problem so they didn’t owe me anything. Also the app they use doesn’t really work - i tried to purchase early arrival but the app wouldn’t allow me to purchase, and contacting the “payments” people, they said (of course) that it wasn’t their responsibility it was the app people or whatever (for whom of course I have no contact information). They also said the code for the keys would come on the app but it did not, I had to call them to get it. Sorry if you’re calling from an international plan that costs money, they don’t care. This is a low cost option but it’s a high risk option for staying in Lyon. Also only about half of the floor space of the unit is usable because the ceilings are EXTREMELY low. If you’re over about 5’10 i would say this unit is basically unlivable, you’d have to bend over to get into the bathroom or the kitchen.

Da es sich um eine günstige Unterkunft handelte, hatte ich keine hohen Erwartungen. Allerdings wurden nicht alle versprochenen Leistungen erbracht. Das Apartment befand sich im 6. Stock (7. nach amerikanischer Zählung), und nach dem ersten Tag meines fünftägigen Aufenthalts in Lyon fiel der Aufzug aus. Ich musste also jedes Mal über 125 Stufen rauf und runter laufen, wenn ich rein oder raus wollte, und mein gesamtes Gepäck sechs Stockwerke hinunterschleppen (die Beleuchtung ist zeitlich begrenzt und geht aus, bevor man ganz oben oder unten ist, sodass man im Dunkeln mit der Handytaschenlampe hantieren muss). Als ich um eine Ermäßigung bat, da der Aufzug ausgefallen war, hieß es, das sei nicht ihr Problem, sondern das des Gebäudes, weshalb sie mir nichts schuldeten. Außerdem funktioniert die App nicht richtig – ich versuchte, eine frühere Anreise zu buchen, aber die App ließ mich nicht buchen. Als ich die Zahlungsabteilung kontaktierte, hieß es (natürlich), es sei nicht ihre Verantwortung, sondern die der App-Entwickler (deren Kontaktdaten ich natürlich nicht habe). Sie sagten auch, der Schlüsselcode würde in der App angezeigt, aber das war nicht der Fall. Ich musste anrufen, um ihn zu erhalten. Falls Sie mit einem kostenpflichtigen Auslandstarif anrufen, tut es mir leid, aber das interessiert sie nicht. Diese Unterkunft ist zwar günstig, aber mit hohen Risiken verbunden, wenn man in Lyon übernachten möchte. Außerdem ist nur etwa die Hälfte der Wohnfläche nutzbar, da die Decken extrem niedrig sind. Wenn Sie größer als 1,78 m sind, ist diese Wohnung praktisch unbewohnbar; Sie müssten sich bücken, um ins Bad oder in die Küche zu gelangen.
