Villa in Ampus mit Panorama und Pool

The location is a unique place with stunning views in the middle of nature. It´s relatively close to beautiful villages around, markets and wineries. 1h to the sea, 1h to Verdon, perfect for biking, hiking and swimming. We loved the different places to hang out and the setup of the facility. Everybody can find his own preferred calm place, enjoy the view or relax / cook / eat / drink within the group. Kitchen was well equipped, Pool clean, modern bathrooms, natural stone floor, furniture sufficient, charming lighting by night. We definetely intend to come back! Playing chess with a cigar, a glass of wine and the view to Draguigan - what do you need more? Room for improvement we see on the number of parasols (only 1-2 at the pool for 10 deck chairs, no other shade), women missed a hairdryer and - normal in nature - some wasps, moskitos, lot of ants and further unknown animal by night ;-).

We hade a pleasant stay in the house. The house and location are fantastic. Spacious, big house and lots of tranquility. However we had a bit of issues with the bed-and bath linnen. We informed the host immediately that the linnen was not smelling fresh, and that there was a scent of dogs in the house and the linnen. The host told us this was impossible, although we found several proof in the house (toys, damage of dogs). My wife washed and dried all of the towels again, eventhough we paid for it. Cleaning was for 85% ok, but there were some parts that could have been cleaned a bit more, but it might be our standards. Unfortunatelly we informed the host about this, and no compensation or appologies were offered. But nevertheless we would certainly go back, but this time without paying for towels and linnen.

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Haus und Lage sind fantastisch. Es ist ein geräumiges, großes Haus und sehr ruhig. Allerdings hatten wir ein paar Probleme mit der Bett- und Badwäsche. Wir informierten den Gastgeber sofort, dass die Bettwäsche nicht frisch roch und dass sowohl im Haus als auch in der Wäsche ein Hundegeruch wahrnehmbar war. Der Gastgeber meinte, das sei unmöglich, obwohl wir im Haus mehrere Beweise dafür fanden (Spielzeug, Hundespuren). Meine Frau wusch und trocknete alle Handtücher erneut, obwohl wir dafür bezahlt hatten. Die Reinigung war zu 85 % in Ordnung, einige Bereiche hätten aber etwas gründlicher gereinigt werden können – das mag jedoch an unseren Ansprüchen liegen. Leider haben wir den Gastgeber darüber informiert, und es wurde uns weder eine Entschädigung noch eine andere Lösung angeboten. Wir würden aber auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, dieses Mal jedoch ohne für Handtücher und Bettwäsche zu bezahlen.
